commercial judgement in the age of intelligent machines
Commercial performance is one of the most consequential skills in business and one of the least honestly documented. What actually makes a deal move. Why a champion who seemed solid quietly stopped fighting for you. How a pipeline can look healthy on paper and feel wrong to everyone who knows what they are looking at. The knowledge that answers those questions tends to stay in the rooms where it was earned, shared between people who already have access, rarely written down, almost never published.
Aurari exists to change that. It is a media and advisory brand about commercial judgement in the age of intelligent machines: writing, observations and selective advisory work from someone still doing the work at the highest level, not reflecting on a career from a distance, but drawing on live experience in complex markets, across multiple geographies, with real stakes attached.
The best sellers are always learning. That is the discipline behind everything published here, whether it is a pattern named in a piece on champion development or an honest look at what A.I. quietly reveals about the sellers hiding behind it.
Founder, AURARI
I have always sold as the underdog. Not inside a famous brand with guaranteed inbound demand, but into markets that had not yet decided what they thought, with no category to lean on and no one coming to close the deal but me.
For a long time I assumed that simply made the work harder. It took me longer to see that it was actually where I learned the most, because when nothing is given to you, you have to build the case for trust, for urgency, and for the story itself, before you can even begin to sell the solution.
That is the work I still do now, building pipelines from nothing, selling technical and complex products into sceptical buyers, and turning fragile early accounts into serious ones, not through charm, but through a system that never depended on me being in the room.
I help founders and sales teams find that same foundation, the one strong enough to scale, before they hire the sales lead, raise the round, or spend their runway finding out the hard way.
